Summer Fair quotes:

“Putting on a fete like yesterday’s, did it again for me, and my wife.

As she put it, “there was much more this year, more to see, more to do, and better organised” so it’s all good news for Culvers from our point of view as parents, and I’m sure other parents would agree. To be involved in yesterday’s event, and to see the playground disappear in a throng of people like it did, was unforgettable.Just fantastic.
Looking forward to a favourable future, with Culvers House. Glad to be a part of it”

K. Chiverton PTA Parent Governor

It was such a great afternoon. We invited lots of family along and they all had a brilliant time. My nieces and nephews especially enjoyed the plate painting and couldn’t wait to have their dinner on them that evening!
I think it was such a good idea to have all the classes performing as well.
Everyone involved should be really proud of themselves for putting on such a wonderful fate.
Know really looking forward to the Christmas fair!

Thanks Adam, we had a lovely day and it just goes to show what can be done with some good organisation! I agree with Maria about the generous families that came yesterday, the playground was busier than I have ever seen it!
Thanks also to the teachers that got into the stocks and goal that was a huge hit!!!
Also it was lovely to see some year 6 children helping before we opened and hope they get a special mention in the newsletter!
It was by far the best fair yet, let’s see how we do at Christmas!!!

I had a great day too and I think it was not only the best fair Culvers has ever had but very good competition for other local schools too, the Bar was definitely a hit!

“Thank you, it was a fab afternoon and even though my feet are throbbing i had a brilliant time. A MASSIVE thank you to all the volunteers who ran all the stalls today, we so could never have done it without you. What a generous bunch of teachers, parents, grandparents, aunties, etc……we have in our school”
We will send out a big thank you to all parents next week but please pass it on to anyone not on email.
M. Vidal. PTA team and parent.
I just wanted to say what a fantastic fair it was.Well done and thank you to everyone involved!!Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Jo P. Teacher and PTA team.
“I would like to say a really huge ‘Thank you’ to absolutely everyone who contributed to making yesterday’s fair such a massive success. Of all the many, many school fairs I have been involved in, I think yesterday’s probably tops the lot! The organisation was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely and the turnout was great. I always think the PTA says a lot about any school community and I think the energy and commitment of everyone involved in ours says a tremendous amount about the Culvers House community. I appreciate just what a huge amount of hard work it takes and I am really grateful to everyone for all you put in” Mr R. Eyre-Brook. Headteacher
